The Truth Of A&P

The short twaddle A&P tells a story about a twenty-four hours the local grocery cut in tightlipped the beach. Sammy, the main character, is the cashier never seems to enjoy his subcontract at A&P and after an incident that happens, he stands up to the manager for what he touch sensations is right and quits his crinkle on the spot. Now how does this all happen? It all goes seat to the place and time of this story which is in the 1950s near the beach. The manager Lengel does not seem to be too exact at first but has his ways I feel.
schooling the story in first person we see the day in the life at work through Sammys eyes. He sees three girls come into the grocery story with still swim suites on. He nick names theses girls as plaid, abundant tall goon goony, and queenie. These names come to him I feel as the way that he sees the girls and how they carry themselves. Sammy keeps his eyes on them magic spell they are shopping and in my eyes I feel that his way of watching over them.
Sammy watching the girls while they are shopping shows the foreshadowing how he ends up sticking up for the girls at the end. With Sammy watching them he ends up miscounting capital for a customer and because of that the woman gives him a rude looks a seems to be a tad bit upset. Sammy lets that go though and continues to watch after the girls.



Lengel the manager finds the girls in the store and it seems that it is offend by what they are wearing inside his grocery store. Girls, this isnt the beach( Page 134) he says to them.
Queenie responds with explain to Langel that her and her friends are on that point just picking up a few low-down things that her mother asked for. This wouldnt see a problem and could concur been left at just that, but Langel pushes more and says Thats all right...But this isnt the beach.(Page 134) Stating that again comes across more exclamatory and Sammy picks up on that and deep down feels bad for the girls. Sammys own manager is making these girls feel bad.
