In the history of masterpieces including great works of film, a bump or a beautiful piece of literature a central character leads the way and keeps you drawn into what is occurring. You would be embarrassing pressed to find a more intriguing plot line then one that involves the ever so epic tragical hero. Whether it is Macbeth, Oedipus the King or more modernly Jay Gatsby the tragic hero has kept our mouths watering with literature condensation and reminded us to stay level headed and not get too pompous. The Tragic Hero in literature is truly a work of achievement when it comes to these writers position genius and iconic stories together.
