We take place through images. Visual communication is a central purview of our lives, and much of it is done indirectly, through symbolic means: by words and signs and symbols of wholly kinds. (Berger,2007)

Some approaches to visual communication involve: information graphics, symbols and signs, shapes and colors, images and groups of images, charts and graphs, typography, and cartoons and illustrations. I recently constructed a visual put in that communicated the importance of recycling using a few of these approaches to telling visual communication. I used various symbols and signs, shapes and colors, cartoons and illustrations, and topped it stumble with a little typography. My target audience is younger children, old 5-12. Children can be easily communicated to by using signs and symbols of all kinds. Because of this, I used burnished colors and happy-looking cartoons to convey my heart and soul. The near effective approach to communication that I used would study to be the shapes and colors. The following paragraphs will explain why.




Because communicating visually may only take place for a play off of seconds, especially when attempting to reach an audience of the younger demographic, it is of the essence(p) that the message be brief. This is why the most important words in the visual are the biggest and most colorful. Also, because a childs mind is frequently over-stimulated the shapes and bright colors helps to catch and clench the attention of the target audience for as long as is necessary to convey the message.
