Google Management and Leadership
Google was founded by Larry page and Sergey Brin in 1997 after many brainstorming sessions, when they first met at Stanford in 1995. Their mission when starting up was simple: “ aim the world’s information and make it universally get-at-able and useful.” (Company Overview, 2008). Google is the most used, fast, accurate and free search railway locomotive receipts available to the world. The management has made commitments to the users of the world and to the employees of Google known as Googlers. This commitment has led to a superior search engine while the employees invite fun at their jobs.
Google focuses on the customers, to turn in them the best search experience possible. They will not present the customer for their own gain. Customer satisfaction is the highest priority anyways continuing to search and improve the technology of the search engine. Google has more than than 10,000 employees around the world, yet they maintain a small fellowship feel (Company Overview, 2008). They feel every employee has a say or a hands on contribution to the success of the company.
Google has a very unique culture that has created a staff who shares their vision, mission, and set as a company. The leaders today of Google have created and maintaining a healthy unique organizational culture.
The leaders of Google comprise of the tabular array of Directors with 10 members. The Executive Management Group comprise of 14 members. The Key executives for Engineering have 12 members. The Products executives have eight members. The Sales executives have 14 members. The Legal executives have cardinal members. The Finance executives have five members. The Business Operations executives have one member, (Company Overview, 2008).
