As a democracy with fourth-biggest population growth in the world, Indonesia is facing many problems in managing its citizen, for example is about forgiving being trafficking. Indonesia has become a hotbed of this practice. This supposed modern slavery is becoming an important and complex matter. It is besides identified as a high violation of kind-hearted rights. Today, human trafficking in Indonesia is increasing every year. Many wad especially women and children have become the victim of this practice. They regularly trafficked into the commercialized sex trade. Whether rule of law have been created to eradicate the human trafficking, in contrast, it is still occurring under the carpet. I believe that the political sympathies is unresponsive in taking care of this case.
Human trafficking is include as human rights violation. It violates the principle that people should live in peace and freedom from slavery. Human trafficking is in any case endemic at heart Indonesian society. Men, woman, and children are usually trafficked into the commercial sex trade. The last mentioned case happened to a woman in Bandung. She forced to be a prostitute at a nightclub in Bandung. Tragically, she was sold by her mother.
That is just one example of human trafficking that happened in Indonesia. At least, there were 794 same cases that occurred from 2005 until 2009; also ±70.000 children were connected as the victims of human trafficking. This is very heartbreaking remembering that the governing body already have a strict and legal rules to revenge the perpetrators, but the actions is still occurring.
There are several actions that include in human trafficking. The most popular and taking many peoples attention is commercial sex trade.
