Reflections on First Few Weeks
It has been approximately three weeks since the mean solar day I arrived at the land of kangaroos. All the excitements await. I mat up excited but at the alike time nervous. This depart be my first time to be staying at a totally different country for years, studying and living. I treat a shit to learn a split up of things from basic ho go for kit and caboodle until using public transportation. Lucky for me I have my aunty and her family supporting, teaching and guiding me.
Living in Melbourne gives me a lot of new experiences. The first day in Melbourne was very deteriorate because of jet lag. No matter how tired I was, my oddity made me travel around and explore many places in the suburbs. It was fascinating to walk around and enjoy the chill of the atmosphere. I observed that the people in Melbourne are more hospitable that people in Indonesia. I find it strange that in Melbourne, strangers passing by will spot each former(a) (without hesitation too!). Whereas in Indonesia, it is a rarity for strangers to greet each other. I too learnt that within one day, quatern different weathers can occur. I have to learn how to correct to these changes.
In Jakarta, I do non normally take public transport, because of safety reasons and its inconvenience. We tend to be dependent on cars.



Staying in Melbourne gave me good opportunities and new experiences to be able to use public transportations such as trains, buses and trams to travel. As a newcomer, I tend to make some mistakes. It was last Thursday. I was on my way home, rushing to get into the train. Careless me, I hoped into the scathe train. Instead of Glen Waverley train as I was heading to get on Waverley, I hopped into Belgrave train and end up at Boxhill. From indeed onwards, I learn my mistake. I try my best not to be careless, not to rush and not to make the same mistake again. Besides travelling, I too tasted different heathenish foods from Asian countries to Europeans.
