Piaget is well known for his research and theories on how childrens minds assimilation and accommodation. Piaget states that children go through four stages within the cognitive development also known as genetic epistemology. According to Piaget, infants acquire their knowledge of the universe of discourse by performing operations- by acting upon the world (founding of psychology). Piaget referred children as a little scientist (alevelpsychology) as they are schooling and experimenting from the environment all the time.
