In 1943, the military released the first snatch up of curtly soldiers. The shoot down was taken by George Strock, who photographed three dead G.I.s lying dead stranded on Buna Beach, in the Pacific. The intention of this photo was to shock the viewers of the reality of the war. This bear witness describes the arguments Strocks was trying to portray, as well as start the audiences to appreciate what these soldiers have done for their country. Most photographers that were adapted to take pictures will never be recognized for their work. Often, it was big(p) to document the photographer for a certain photograph. In fact, William Rider-Rider is one of the few known photographers of knowledge base War I. He was able to preserve most of his pictures, and was hence able to be acknowledged for his work. Although most photographers became anonymous during ball War I, they did belong to photographic services, and photographs were acknowledged under a photographic service.



Photographers worked through these photographic services to become legitimate photographers, and to gain access to the zones photographers were allowed to.
Though censorship was extremely relentless during World War I, it changed significantly during World War II, and therefore during later periods of war. It was during World War II that the first photograph of dead American soldiers was published in America. September 1943, vivification magazine published George Strocks famous, Dead GIs on Buna Beach. The men in the photograph are dead, except their deaths did not seem violent. They are elegantly lying on the beach; however, their faces are not visible.
