The American Imperialism insurance was adopted because of the need to keep up with otherwise external countries. Much like the term keeping up with the Jones, at that place was a desire to have a stronger hold on the conflicting trade and not so much to puff up American territory, but to where America can place their toes without permission. With the forwarding of transportation and communication, the desire to expand and the need for American foreign trades increased.
Some of the reasons America tried to rationalize imperialism were the need to avoid import costs for farmers and factory workers, increase exports, racial guard to dominate over the lesser races, and to bring religion to which Americans believed were heathens. turn Americans tried to justify imperial control in the attain of such values, social, economic, and political forces were drawing them rapidly into the imperial race. American imperialism would not be fit to advance forward until Americans brought their naval ships back up to a condition where they would have a functional fleet to protect its interests overseas.



After the completion of legal transfer the naval fleet back up to standards, America was able to start reaching outward to other countries to work on expanding trade relations. The demand for the expansion of American trade to other countries ended up being the driving force of American imperialism. America needed foreign trade to help emanation the economy during times of depression.
