Should PTPTN be abolished??

The internal Higher precept Fund toilet (PTPTN) has been an ongoing issue as of late. M both argue that Malaysia as a developing country should provide scanty knowledge on the grounds that education is a basic right. As a matter of fact, since PTPTN was established in 1997 under the National Higher Education Fund Corporation Act 1997, virtually 1.93 million students have benefited over the past 15 years, as pointed out by the higher education ministry.

In the discussion recently, PR announces that it will abolish the National Higher Education Fund or PTPTN loans once they come into power. By the way, the government activity says the announcement is populist and can never be make by the PR. According to the government, about RM 43 billion are owe by students to the PTPTN. But, according to claims by the PR, it is only RM 28 billion.

In my opinion, the Government should not abolish the PTPTN because it helps umteen students who involve to continue their studies to a higher level. This is especially for those who do not have enough funds to pay for their studies, whether from poor families or who had failed to get a scholarship or loan from any associations. But, this is my opinion. My corroborate is depends on how I argue on this thing.

What are the support that PR gave to abolish PTPTN? Among the supports are education should be free like Turkey or Germany. Besides that, the students should not be burdened by so much loans after graduates and ultimately the country can actually afford the loan if thither was less corruption and wasteful spending.

I do not say that PR is wrong but I appreciate those who take loans should pay their debts. Other than that, it is a waste of funds that could be used for other development projects. Lastly, I say the government cannot afford it anyway.
