topic ideas for persuasive essays.
Example of one is a topic like “going to college is the best thing
a person can do”. Now with such a topic the writer is supposed to
convince the readers without any doubt that that is the truth and
seem convincing enough. For the person to be convincing he has to
show the benefits someone going to college and show the disadvantages
of not going to college.
The writer should show the positive side of
the story to change the opinions of those who think differently about
going to college. The writer should not show any disadvantages of
going to college as this might make them loose the upper hand at
convincing the reader.
For starters, the writer could show the
advantages such as a student one gets to gain the skills that they
can use in the job market. Another is that the education at the
college level makes the mind of a person to broaden and makes him
think outside the box a skill that can benefit a person a lot. For
example a person who has gone to college and can be abler to think
outside the box can look at the situation in a town and decides not
to open another restaurant in the town that serves fast food but
decides to be unique and different and opens up a restaurant that
serves traditional African dishes.

who had gone to college is compared to that of a high school leaver.
