Have you ever realized that the media seems to underscore some stories more than than others? You are being surrounded by lies and double-dealing and it has been happening since World War I. The very small number of corporations that own the media are pushing right-wing views and do not give proper acknowledgement to alternative viewpoints. How is this happening? How send away it be changed? What role does the government play in these problems? These questions and more must be asked and answeredquickly!
Is the media, something that is meant to be nurtureal, the very thing that is misinforming us? It seems as if mass media is more devoted to laughable the masses rather than reporting the news to them (Chomsky 20).



The large media entities such as the New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and others dress out the tone for the media of the nation (Conason). The Associated Press releases a daily publicise that tells what the New York Times is going to publish the next day. smaller papers with fewer resources than the large, famous papers take that information and write their own stories around it; thus, the one-dimensional media begins (Chomsky 20). This type of power structure is totally invisible to the public, which is why it goes undetected. However, sometimes newspapers do not use these stories. Sometimes they would rather report on things such as sports and sex scandals. Do the elite media sources, such as the New York Times and CBS, care about this?
