Memento is a unique movie that revolves around Leonard, the important character. Ever since witnessing the rape of his wife, Leonard has lost the ability to create raw(a) memories. Memento succeeds in allowing the audience to experience the emotions felt by Leonard: the paranoia and confusion of not be able to trust himself, the madness of not computer memory the person he is talking to after two transactions into the conversation. Christopher Nolan, the director, is able to accomplish this through the use of cunning filming, mysterious character interaction, and a unique secret plan element.
