Lord of the Flies Good vs. Evil Quotes

Many past years before the coming of Christianity or Muslim people had numerous gods whom they offered sacrifices to and praised. Every god had his or her powers and the people had to please that god for his or graces through offering sacrifices. Some of these sacrifice where to be made at specific times, seasons or days for the god to accept and grand their wish.
The gods were their lords who deserved top most respect and honor. Some gods were to be appeased with human sacrifice. The leaders would take someone by force and sacrifice him or her to the god in exchange for a certain favor. This depended on how important the favor was to the individual or to the society. The sacrifices were made under selected trees which were considered the places of worship.
The place under the trees and the surroundings were considered holy and sacred because of the belief that the gods dwelt there. There holy grounds demanded everyone’s respect otherwise the gods were to punish those who had no respect to them. Those who lead this kind of religion were considered lords as through them the gods got to ear the people voices. The masses considered them superior deigns who had the power to influence all in their lives.
The lords had more power and all they quoted was very effective. For example some communities had gods for good things and gods of bad omens. The Lord of the flies good vs. evil quotes was to ask the god of bad omen to bring some epidemic to punish the wrong doers for instance. The lord would make sacrifice chanting evil quotes that were to bring the bad omen. These outdated religions essays are interesting to read and are available at Orderessay.net.
