Good Argumentative Topics

Argumentative topics are those that create a difference in opinion. These topics do not have a definite one-sided answer. These topics always have two or more opinions in them. For example, topics like women are not equal to men. Such a topic would spark off debate at once because it does not have a definite strong opinion. Those who strongly support the topic may be called chauvinist and those who are against it may be called feminist.
Those who support the topic should clearly show why they think that men are more superior to women and give the strong reasons that he thinks so. Therefore, in an essay paper, the writer will have to put all this in the essay he is writing because showing and supporting one side would mean that it is no longer an argumentative essay. Good argumentative topics are those that outright do not have one opinion.
